A wide angled view looking up the bronze statue of Thomas Jefferson in the Jefferson Memorial in Washington, D.C. The statue was commissioned to Rudolph Evans in 1941. The bronze statue, standing 19 feet tall and weighing five tons, replaced the original plaster statue when the restriction on the use of metals was lifted after World War 2.
