A group of trekkers climb on the Perito Moreno Glacier, with the Andes mountains rising up in the distance. Located in Parque National Los Glaciares National Park, 80 km west of El Calafate, in the Patagonian province of Santa Cruz, the Perito Moreno glacier is one the most popular natural attractions of Argentina. The glacier has a wall of ice of more than 70 meters (230 feet) above the water surface, with 30 km (20 miles) long and a total surface of 257 square kilometers (106 square miles)
